Rick Block tops final 6 in the second day of Western New York Poker Challenge

The pack played down from fifty players to only 6 on the second day of the Western New York Poker Challenge 2016 Main Event earlier on Sunday, and Rick Block would begin on top in the fight for the later on Monday.


The twenty-eight player money bubble burst part way via the day when Rick broke through Timothy Andruschat’s kings with an infirm ace and the playdown to an unauthorized final table of ten went rather fast.

By the clock they reached there, Mike “The Mayor” Rellinger got short and fell in tenth. Very soon after that, Jeremy Halaska bowed out in 9th and Jeff Wells gave Block the lead, squeezing 2nd pair into Ricks set of aces to leave in 8th.

Cincy Casino sued by Ohio State University over name

The Horseshoe Casino in Cincinnati wants to hold their concert venue named “The Shoe.” However, the Ohio State University does not seem happy with the whole situation. The Shoe is the nickname for Ohio State University’s football stadium. They believe that the casino around 2 hours south contends with it for business. The football stadium of the Ohio State University at times holds concerts as well, when it is not being used for sports. At present, the Buckeyes are the No. 2 ranked college football team in the nation.
Earlier this month, the Ohio State University filed the trademark case the United States Trademark Trial and Appeal Board, said AP. The casino tried to register “The Shoe” as a trademark back in 2013. In the year 2016, the Ohio State registered “The Shoe” as a trademark.
