All American Dave food truck changing poker players diet habit

Coffee encrusted; grass finished sirloin steak with mashed veggies and sweet potatoes. Protein rich smoothies along with fresh greens and organic fruits. These may not look like a typical diet for a poker player because this was not a typical diet for a long time. When people think of typical poker cuisine, they think of beer and pizza or sandwich at a home game.
But if anyone walks through the World Series of Poker Main Event rooms these days, you would find a different type of poker player. Jason Koon is someone who has won more in money compared to his percentage of body fat. Phil Galfond appears like a shell of his earlier self. The single thing which larger than the chip stacks of these guys are their biceps coming out of their shirts.
And both the players, like several others at Rio All Suite Hotel & Casino during the World Series of Poker, get their foods from All American Dave food truck.
Dave Swanson, the proprietor of the truck, is not a certified trainer. In fact, he does not have any formal culinary knowledge. But he is driving a campaign towards clean, healthy living which is sweeping through poker community – and he is making a great little chunk of alteration along the way.
During a slow period following the Main Event dinner on Wednesday night, Swanson told that his proof is in his results.
